TAA League, Week 1

The Tyoga Atlatl Association began the eighth year of its Tuesday night atlatl league May 1st in Chemung.
 
Ten people participated, each throwing an ISAC-style game and an animal round.

Animal Round: Participants threw a single dart from five different positions at a single target. Unmeasured, the lines were approximately seven to 12 meters. The target, a wild pig, had three scoring rings… five points for the heart, three points for the lungs/ liver and one point for a body shot within the general outline of the body.

This is the first week that Wendy and Lynn Clark have thrown in our league... and it was great to have them. They both seem to enjoy the sport and will quickly become more skilled.
 
It was also nice to have Matt back throwing with us after a couple years hiatus in Wisconsin.
