League Wrap-up '06

The 2006 season of the Tyoga Atlatl Association’s Tuesday league was filled with changes, reunions and good times.
 
The first seven weeks were thrown at our old stomping grounds along Cayuta Creek at the EMC Club. When the group felt a change was needed, Tom Goble offered the use of his place for the remainder of the season and for future tournaments… and the group gladly accepted.
 
Near the end of the season Dave and Shannon Santos returned from their yearlong venture to Arizona and rejoined our ranks. Their season was short, but it didn’t take them long to get back into the swing of things. Soon after the conclusion of the season Shannon was throwing personal highs in the 70s.
 
In an effort to change things up even more, we played some games, utilized an animal round, made a video to present to the Pennsylvania Game Commission and, simply stated… had some fun.

** 10-percentage is the number of 10s thrown, divided by the total number of throws. I suppose it might be better to break this statistic down to separate 15 & 20 meters, but I didn’t do that here. This will give you an idea of how many times one hits the 10 or X per 10 throws. For example, a 10-percentage of .200 would mean that for every 10 throws, the thrower hits the 10 twice.
