Week 13, '06 League

Good friends returned… the making of a video. The thirteenth week of the TAA’s Tuesday league was different than weeks past and reminiscent of leagues past.
 
Dave and Shannon Santos showed up to throw with us and it was good to have them back from their Arizona adventure and looking good.
 
Christy was kind enough to bring some video equipment and her knowledge of that equipment to our league, so the first couple of hours were spent shooting footage for a short video that we hope to have for the upcoming Pennsylvania Game Commission. I am unsure what the final video will include, but Tom and Jack were the consummate stars for my producing debut.
 
I hauled out my old 3D deer target with its missing ears, antler and eye so that we could have something to throw at besides a paper target. Then Jack and I set up the moving target, still sporting a turkey on it. The video will feature Jack throwing from a tree stand, Tom throwing from the ground and even more that I really don’t even know about.
 
It turned out to be a special league night… and we even got to throw some darts. I missed out on the first ISAC-style game because I was working on the narration part of the video. (No matter how it turns out, I learned a lot and hope to do some more videos in the future.)
 
Game 1: Jack Rowe – 81; Tom Goble – 76; Dave Santos – 72; Mike Blakeman – 52; Missy LaDue – 31 and Shannon Santos – 24.
 
We then split into two groups, the combined scores as follows:
 
Game 2: Dennis Lantz – 90; Jack Rowe – 83; Dave Santos – 80X; Tom Goble – 60; Shannon Santos – 43; Mike Blakeman – 34 and Missy LaDue – 27.
 
Animal Round: Dennis Lantz – 22; Dave Santos – 19; Tom Goble – 18; Jack Rowe – 14; Shannon Santos – 8; Mike Blakeman – 3 and Missy LaDue – 3.
