          Baton Rouge, Louisiana... Victor M. Ahearne... I have been throwing for approx. 14 years. I have been an active member of a number of primitive skills organizations, including Great Lakes Primitives, the Michigan Atlatl Association, Missouri Atlatl Association and World Atlatl Association. Recently another chapter in my life has ended and another has begun. I have recently left the state of Missouri and made my way to Baton Rouge, LA. I have left behind a great experience with the Missouri Atlatl Association, Missouri Conservation Federation and Missouri Department of Conservation and our big win with gaining the legalization of the Atlatl as an new means of taking game, which became effective in March of 2007.           Grand Island, New York... Jim Fisher... My interest in the atlatl was launched in the fall of 2005 after many years of watching friends throwing darts at knap-ins. My interests include primitive skills, surface collecting projectile points, and flintknapping. I earned a B.A. in Anthropology/Archaeology concentration back in 1988 and currently work as a high school principal. I offer flintknapping lectures and demonstrations and have recently enhanced those by adding atlatl and dart demonstrations. Member of the New York State Atlatl Association.
